As we say, an investment in knowledge is the best investment and we partner with you for your success:
We offer a globally recognised Kaizen Certification program for both the service and manufacturing industries that is a tiered qualification & certification program that will enable your company to obtain lean skills based on global best practices.
The qualification levels are KAIZEN Practitioner, KAIZEN Coach and KAIZEN Manager for Manufacturing and KAIZEN Practitioner and KAIZEN Specialist for the Service industry. This allows you, over time to build up KAIZEN specialists who know and apply the lean tools and can professionally support and drive the improvement process.
There is certification at each of the qualification levels which can be gained through practical application and also written and verbal examinations for the KAIZEN Coach and KAIZEN Manager and KAIZEN Specialist Certification.
This comprehensive approach provides you with the ability to:
- ‘Own’ your own Continuous Improvement journey
- Undertake a structured approach and acceleration of the process
- Cost neutral to the host organisation: Projects must deliver benefits equal or more than the training costs
- Supports the employee empowerment/accountability model
- Non threatening way to introduce KAIZEN concepts to staff
- Helps builds cross-functional collaboration and understanding.
How long does it take? Clients typically undertake from between 6 month period – they complete one, 2 day module per 4 to 6 weeks, and then implement the learnings over the next month via practical projects and activities –supporting our KAIZEN ‘learn by doing’ ethos.
Who should be involved? Those staff who are designated as being responsible for the implementation of KAIZEN in the business and can be drawn from a wide range of responsibilities and roles in the business
How many people should go through the process at any one time? We suggest that class sizes should be a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 to allow sufficient interaction with the facilitator and learning among participants
What is delivered during these sessions? Extensive presentation material, practical exercises, DVD’s, photos, examples of case studies from around the world and presentations on the progress of the internal projects being undertaken by participants are elements of each training session
Are there any other recommendations you would give before we start the Certification process? We strongly recommend that you ensure that adequate Mentoring days are provided to staff to allow them to have their questions answered, resolve outstanding issues, ensure they are kept on track etc. We suggest a minimum of one day of mentoring for every 2 days of training
What is the level of investment? Participants are required to deliver benefits from the projects undertaken during the Certification process to a level at least equal to the costs associated with the Certification process – in essence, the process is therefore COST NEUTRAL.
If you would like to know more about the Certification process for either the Service Industry or Manufacturing Industry, please contact us for further information and we can send you a comprehensive additional explanatory document.
